This is because it is enriching and interesting, it shows development of China's economy and industry. We cannot get to experience such things in Singapore and should make use of the trip to China to do so

Sanheguzhen
Li Hong Zhang residence
Although Sanheguzhen is preserved, but it is very boring and even by going lihongzhang residence we do not truly experience what life was like there, and despite having values explained to us, it is pointless because we all know of the values but it comes down to us not being able to experience it.
Can improve
Visiting buddies house in school immersion
It makes it more interesting for us and we get to bond and live a day in the life of a person living in China.
